The Fire Alarm Box Profile

The Fire Alarm box is a medium sized enclosure, made from 4mm, off white, fine grain, High Impact Polystyrene, however this design requires UL94V0 graded plastic which is flame retardant. As you can see this design has many visible cut outs including a digital display and numerous dials and switches.

This design incorporates a 'flip lid' which is hinged on the left hand side (as you look at it), and fastened on the right with a metal captive screw. This enables the user of the enclosure quick access to the interior, yet a secure fastening to keep everything protected when access is not needed. The hinge and fastening platform mechanism is designed and created by BAFBOX, so no costly hinges are required.

Internally there are six push outs to enable the box to be used in more than one application, and there are 9 pillars to support all of the electronics.

Finally to complete the overall presentation this design includes a recess for a keypad membrane, and company logo.
