The Cable Tester Profile

The Cable Tester is a medium sized enclosure, made from 4mm, light grey, fine grain, High Impact Polystyrene. As you can see this design has very visible, and some what unique, cut outs. Along with the standard cut outs for LED's and switches, there are a series of various scaled cut outs. These therefore play a very large role in the overall presentation and functionality of the enclosure.

This design also incorporates a removable battery cover which is not clearly visible in the photograph above. The cover is on the underside of the base, and is accessed by 2 screw inserts pressed into the plastic.

Internally there are the two inserts described above, and five nylon pillars. These pillars provide the support for all of the electronics.

Finally to complete the overall presentation and set off the cut out display, this design includes a 3 colour screen print. Included in the screen print design is the company name and logo which does not feature above.
